According to the Argentine News Agency and as indicated by the Córdoba Public Prosecutor's Office, the Anti-Narcotics Police Force (FPA) made the apprehension after an investigation that had been going on for several months. Finally, the operation was carried out in the vicinity of the prison. During a preventive pat-down, agents found several doses of cocaine, cash, and other items of interest to the case. The investigation pointed to the suspect transporting narcotics. The accused was transferred to a hospital for a medical examination, where it was confirmed that she was carrying narcotics in her body.
